Question 338: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the progress that has been made towards granting permanent status to a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; if she will give due priority to completing this process now that it has satisfied the required conditions; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The school referred to by Deputy opened with provisional recognition from the Department in September 2006. Newly established schools are generally required to undergo a period of provisional recognition, during which the operation of the school and the growth of pupil numbers are monitored.
