Question 249: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Galway was deemed to be an employee of the Western Health Board from 1990 to 2002 in their role as supervisor over a community employment scheme at Toghermore Training Centre, Tuam, County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Under Part 10 of the Health Act 2004, the health boards were dissolved and their functions and employees transferred to the Health Service Executive. Therefore, the Executive is the appropriate body to consider the particular case/issue raised by the Deputy. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
