Question 300: To ask the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the progress made in his Department on the roll out of the poverty impact assessment to ensure that all policies are evaluated in terms of their potential impact on poverty and social inclusion; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, the Minister for Social and Family Affairs circulated a new set of guidelines for Poverty Impact Assessment in July 2007. I can confirm that these Guidelines are taken into account, as appropriate, across my Department.
