The Witness Security Programme was developed to encourage and reassure vulnerable witnesses in serious criminal cases and is operated by An Garda Síochána. For obvious reasons, it is not the practice to comment on operational details in relation to the Programme, including in relation to details of the kind sought by the Deputy.
