In general, to be eligible for school transport pupils must reside 3.2 kilometres or more from, and be attending, their nearest Gaelscoil. My Department's School Transport Section has forwarded the list of pupils, supplied by the school to Bus Éireann in order to determine their eligibility for school transport. My Department would advise the families concerned to liaise with the local Bus Éireann office regarding the outcome of their applications.
