Question 143: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 989 of 20 March 2007, if he has given further consideration to a request to meet with a delegation from Midleton Town Council regarding the Midleton Town boundary alteration; if so, when such a meeting will take place; his views on such an alteration; the action he has taken or intends to take on the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that my predecessor was invited to meet with a delegation in early 2007. I have recently received an invitation to meet with a delegation of Midleton Town Council, to which I will reply shortly. I also intend to respond to Midleton Town Council's application for a boundary extension as soon as possible.
