The Garda Síochána (Discipline) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 214 of 2007) were signed on 2nd May 2007 following discussions at the Garda Conciliation Council and at numerous meetings under the auspices of that council involving the representative associations of the members of the Garda Síochána. The regulations became effective on 1st June 2007 and have been in full operation since that date.
