Question 156: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will refer to the case history of a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary and determine if an error has been made in issuing the person with notification that they must leave Ireland by 15 November 2007; the basis on which this was issued; the response of his Department to their request to return to the status they enjoyed prior to their recent short trip home; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the Immigration Division of my Department has recently been in contact with the person referred to by the Deputy with regard to her immigration status in the State.
