Question 242: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the number of separated children seeking asylum who have been provided with accommodation by the State; the nature of this accommodation; and the person who supervises and supports the provision of this accommodation to ensure that it is appropriate to the needs of these children and ensures that these children are not subject to exploitation. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and social services which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Office has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
