Question 730: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if her attention has been drawn to the fact that a school (details supplied) in County Wexford is awaiting sanction for the installation of fencing following completion of its new premises; her views on whether, without fencing, the premises is not secure for the pupils attending the school; if she will ensure that her Department sanctions the installation of fencing at this school without further delay; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department recently wrote to the management of the school in question agreeing, in principal, to the provision of boundary fencing. The school has been asked to request its Design Team to provide detail of the additional costs involved.
