The FÁS North East Region receives a substantial number of requests from Community Employment Groups for additional staffing and while there may be a genuine need, along with supporting justification for each request, FÁS is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that these requests are considered fairly and that any approval for additional staffing is strictly within the annual budget allocation.
