Question 121: To ask the Minister for Transport and the Marine the progress that has been made in providing a new building for the Doolin coastguard and rescue service; if negotiations for the acquisition of a site have ended; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19477/07]

The Deputy will be aware that temporary accommodation has been made available for the Doolin Coast Guard Unit members.
While separate negotiations have been commenced in recent months no final agreement has yet been reached.
