Data on mortality are compiled by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and published in the Annual and Quarterly Reports on Vital Statistics. The information requested by the Deputy in relation to suicides for the year 2006 is not yet available. The CSO is in the process of compiling the 2006 data which should be available within the next few weeks.
