Question 622: To ask the Minister for Education and Science further to a previous parliamentary question when the assessment was carried out by her Department of the extent of multi-denominational education provision in the Dublin 9 area; the outcome of this assessment; the long term requirements that were identified; her Department's decision on the way these requirements should be addressed; and if as a result of this a school (details supplied) will receive permanent recognition. The assessment to which the Deputy refers is at an advanced stage. The question of permanent recognition for the school in question will be addressed as part of a strategic examination of multi-denominational provision in the Dublin 9 area. It will also determine long term requirements and how these should best be addressed.
