Question 275: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the laws and statutory instruments introduced on foot of European Communities treaties or on foot of Acts, or provisions of Acts, adopted by any institution of the European Communities or other body competent under those treaties since 1972 for breach of which a penalty up to and including a maximum fine of €500,000 or a term of imprisonment not greater than three years may apply. Insofar as the area of education is concerned, there are no laws or statutory instruments introduced on foot of European Communities Treaties or on foot of Acts adopted by institutions of the European Communities for breach of which the penalties outlined in the question may apply.
