Question 570: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question No. 4 of 1 March 2007, the FÁS training programmes open to people over 65 years of age; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10583/07]

I understand that FAS Training Programmes are open to people who are over 65 years of age. They are not a target priority group but they are eligible to apply and to be considered for participation. In addition, FÁS evening courses are available to people over 65, as are courses provided through FÁS eCollege.
