The Fisheries District Order: Moville 1926 was made under Section 27 of the Fisheries Act 1925 (No. 32 of 1925). That section empowered the Minister to alter fishery districts and electoral divisions. The 1926 Order created the Moville fishery district and created two electoral divisions for the area. A map showing the relevant areas is appended to the Order.

The boundaries of the State are a matter for the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
