Development funding of €3m was provided to the Health Service Executive in 2006 to develop neuroscience services, which includes neurology. A further €4m was provided to continue these developments during 2007. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to have a more detailed reply issued directly to the Deputy in relation to the application of this funding.
