Question 237: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason persons (details supplied) have not yet been granted a residence permit despite the fact that such permits should be processed within six months of the application being made. [9977/07]

I am informed by the Immigration Division of my Department that the application is at the final stage of processing and as soon as a decision is reached the person concerned will be notified of same in writing.
