I propose to take Questions Nos. 403 to 405, inclusive, together.

As previously announced the Government has decided that the regulation of the bus market in the Greater Dublin Area will be the responsibility of the new Dublin Transport Authority. Reform of the Road Transport Act 1932, as amended, will be required to implement the Government decision. Accordingly, new legislation is currently being prepared in my Department to replace the Act by a modern regulatory and licensing regime which will be applicable to all public coach and bus services within the State. It is not possible at this juncture to indicate a precise time as to when the legislative proposals will be published.
