Question 483: To ask the Minister for Education and Science when a school (details supplied) in County Dublin, which is listed as priority one for a new school building, will be given the go ahead to construct a new building where currently five classrooms exist in prefabs, in view of the substantial growth in pupil numbers in this area; her plans to provide a proper physical education facility for this school; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Department has acknowledged the need to relocate the existing primary school referred to by the Deputy to a greenfield site. The acquisition of a site for this development is being actively pursued. When this matter has been finalised, progress on the proposed project can be considered under the School Building and Modernisation Programme.
