Question 400: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he has issued requests or is aware of requests, being issued in relation to companies proposing redundancies or lay-offs to have same deferred until after the general election; the details of such requests, suggestions or proposals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not issued any requests nor am I aware of any requests being issued to companies proposing redundancies or lay-offs to defer those redundancies until after the general election.
