Question 209: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when he expects to receive the modified preliminary report from Kildare County Council in the matter of the upgrading of the waste water treatment facilities at Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare in view of the necessity to proceed with the project given the serious pollution threat; the nature of the correspondence between his Department and Kildare County Council in this matter; when his attention was drawn to the need for the upgrading of the facility; the way he responded; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question No. 596 of the 17 October 2006. The submission of the revised Preliminary Report to my Department is a matter for Kildare County Council.
