Question 46: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of times in 2005 and 2006 that gardaí were called to attend road accidents on a road (details supplied) in County Galway; the number in which fatalities occurred; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that on the road referred to there were 117 collisions in 2006, with two people killed in one collision. In 2005 there were 127 collisions with one fatality.
