Question 518: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the position of the application by a school (details supplied) in view of the expansion of this school in recent years as it is currently a three teacher school with a learning support teacher, with 77 pupils enrolled, additional portacabins which are currently housing some classes which are costing the school €600 per week and that this school urgently needs to expand due to the ever increasing numbers; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application has been received in my Department from the school referred to by the Deputy under the Small Schools Scheme 2007. All applications received under this scheme are under consideration and the list of successful applicants will be published shortly.
