Question 325: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if she will investigate the possibility of providing adequate speech therapy services for the pupils attending a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4747/07]

The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.

Question 326: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the special unit for children with special needs at a school (details supplied) in County Cork has had its speech and occupational therapy services reduced from once per week to once per month; the reason for this reduction; her proposals to increase this service to previous levels; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
