Question 245: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to his reply to Parliamentary Question Nos. 601 of 4 July 2006 and 228 of 1 November 2006, if his attention was at that time or has subsequently been drawn to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 721 of 4 July 2006; the reason for the disparity between the replies given; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the matter is currently being researched and a report will be submitted at an early date. I will contact the Deputy again when the report is to hand.
