Question 73: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the training provided to Garda recruits in relation to the way they prioritise responses to reported incidents; if they are instructed on the incidents that are not responded to; if so, what these incidents are; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed by the Garda authorities that trainee gardaí undergo five phases of training. During these phases, through experiential and academic learning, they develop a capability to prioritise responses to reported incidents.
