Question 707: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if she will investigate a request made to the Southern Health Service Executive to supply equipment to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who is in ill health; and if her attention has been drawn to the fact that despite this request being made by this Deputy to the HSE on 7 September 2006 and a further request being made on 9 October 2006, no contact has been made with this person. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
