Question 325: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of convenience store off-licences that have been prosecuted for sale of alcohol to underage persons in each of the past five years by whatever geographic location figures are available but particularly in the counties of Louth and Meath; the outcome of such prosecutions; the penalties applying in cases of convictions imposed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information requested by the Deputy is not readily available and is currently being researched. I will contact the Deputy again when the information is to hand.
