The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.

Question 237: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the reason the autism team coordinator has not responded to a request for help from a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that a response was promised in a correspondence of September 2006 from the Health Service Executive; the reason correspondence and telephone calls to the same office in October and November 2006 from the person have not been responded to; if a programme for intervention will be put in place; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has been informed by the HSE that a response has issued to the person (details supplied) in Co. Kilkenny.
