Question 53: To ask the Minister for Transport if he supports the idea of a dedicated court division to deal specifically with road traffic offences; if he has had discussions with the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform on this issue; the outcome of such discussions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This proposal is primarily a matter for my colleague the Minister for Justice and the Courts Service. My officials will liaise with their counterparts in the Department of Justice in relation to the assessment of this proposal.
