Question 240: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the enrolment at a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; the number of such students pursuing PLC, VTOS or other alternative adult programmes; the number of second level students enrolled; the trend in enrolment at second level in this school over the past six years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Below are the figures for the school in question with regard to enrolment at Second level and in PLCs. There is no VTOS programme provided in the school. However if students for the VTOS programme available in another centre in town require access to specific modules available in the school, this access is facilitated.

There are Adult Education evening classes provided and approximately 200 adults participate in these classes. The trend in enrolment has been steady between 2003/04 and 2004/05 with a rise in first year enrolment in 2005/06 and a subsequent drop in 2006/07.
