Question 38: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to a complaint made to the EU Commission regarding the transposition of the WEEE Directive 2002.96/EC into Irish Law; if he has received communication from the Commission regarding the complaint; the content of such communication; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not been notified by the EU Commission in connection with any complaints that may have been submitted to the Commission regarding the transposition of EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) into Irish Law.
