Question 442: To ask the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of persons currently employed in her Department whose status has changed to that of disabled since the commencement of their employment with her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36555/06]

There are currently 116 people in my Department who are known to have a disability. In the case of 80 staff members my Department became aware of their disability after they commenced employment.
