The Castleblakney Sewerage Scheme has been ranked as a priority for the 2010 to 2014 period in the list of water services schemes submitted by Galway County Council in response to my Department's request to local authorities earlier this year to produce updated assessments of the needs for capital works in their areas and to prioritise their proposals on the basis of the assessments. These assessments will be taken into account in the framing of the next phase of my Department's Water Services Investment Programme.

The Bruff Sewerage Scheme, which is being advanced as part of a grouped project that also involves Dromcollogher, Hospital and Pallasgreen, is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-07 as a scheme to advance through planning.
My Department is awaiting submission of Limerick County Council's Preliminary Report for the project.
