Officials in my Department have been advised, by Rural Dublin Leader, that a company of which a board member of Rural Dublin Leader was a Director was approved for funding by the Board. Rural Dublin LEADER has confirmed to my Department that all proper procedures as per the Department's operational rules in relation to the project were strictly adhered to, that the member absented himself from the room and had no involvement in the discussion or decision of the Board and the Evaluation Committee.
