Question 293: To ask the Minister for Finance when he expects the Chief State Solicitor to complete deliberations on the transfer of title for the proposed site for a school (details supplied) in County Meath, in view of the ongoing pressure on primary school places in east Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Commissioners of Public Works act as an agent for the Department of Education & Science in the acquisition of sites for primary schools. A suitable site has been identified and agreement on price has been reached subject to contract. It is not possible at this stage to say when the conveyancing process will be completed.
