I presume the Deputy is referring to the North-South Education Consortium. Officials in my Department and the Department of Education in Northern Ireland are currently examining proposals from the Consortium on establishing a North-South Educational Trust and on the development of a Single Programme Framework for North-South funded activity in the Education and Youth sectors.
These proposals are based on the results of a wide-ranging consultation process involving over 50 key stakeholders in Ireland and Northern Ireland, young people involved in exchange activities, an online survey and an e-voting initiative which involved stakeholders, including representatives from Government Departments and delivery agencies.
