As I told the Deputy last week, the organisations to decentralise to Edenderry are the Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC), the Higher Education & Training Awards Council (HETAC) and the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI). These organisations are State agencies under the aegis of my Department. The overall number of posts involved is in the region of 90. All three agencies are public service agencies rather than civil service agencies. The Deputy will be aware of the work that is ongoing at the central level in relation to the decentralisation of the public service agencies, which will impact on the timeframe for the move of FETAC, HETAC and the NQAI. The Office of Public Works has responsibility for the site acquisition and the procurement of the accommodation and this process is currently in train. It is not intended at this stage to put an advance party in place.
