Question 309: To ask the Minister for Finance if he will make arrangements for officials from his Department to meet with members of the local authority and local community in a case (details supplied) in County Mayo for improvements needed in keeping with the character of an area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The site referred to by the Deputy is not in the care of the Office of Public Works. However, given the association of the site with two national monuments under the care of the Office of Public Works I have asked officials from the national monuments section to contact Mayo County Council with a view to meeting to discuss issues of mutual interest.
