Question 93: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources Ireland's rating in the European and international league in regard to broadband availability in respect of communities of 10,000 or more, between 5,000 and 10,000, between 3,000 and 5,000 and under 5,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am not aware of any international league tables in regard to broadband availability in respect of communities of 10,000 or more, between 5,000 and 10,000, between 3,000 and 5,000 and under 5,000. The independent Commission for Communications Regulation, ComReg, compiles data relating to broadband deployment in Ireland. ComReg's analysis and reporting of that data does not categorise it along the lines suggested by the Deputy.
