Question 249: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he will make funding available to the Coastal Management Committee of Cork County Council to provide for a consultants report in relation to the provision of an extension to the pier and a new slipway at Travara, Beara, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Travara Pier, Beara, Co. Cork is owned by Cork County Council and responsibility for its maintenance and development rests with the Local Authority in the first instance.

Cork County Council has not, to date, submitted any proposals to the Department in relation to Travara Pier.
