Question 204: To ask the Minister for Agriculture and Food her views on whether the outbreak of swinefever here might negatively affect Ireland's export market; the steps she is taking to ensure best practice in animal health is being followed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. There are currently no cases of Classical Swine Fever in this country. In the event of an outbreak, my Department would apply measures to contain and eradicate the disease in line with national and EU legislation.
