I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a suitable site has been acquired for the school to which the Deputy refers and agreement has been reached between the Department and the school authority on the provision of a new 32-classroom school. Progress on the proposed works is being considered in the context of the School Building and Modernisation Programme from 2007 onwards.

With regard to the schools accommodation needs for September, 2007 officials in the School Planning Section of the Department will be liaising with the school authority with a view to providing it with accommodation in line with demand from eligible pupils under its enrolment policy.
