Question 150: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the number of people who have volunteered to decentralise to Clonakilty, County Cork, under the CAF procedure; the number who will have made the transfer by the end of 2006; and if he will make a statement on the matter. One hundred and eighty-five first place Central Applications Facility (CAF) applications have been received by my Department for the ninety posts that are decentralising to Clonakilty. It is anticipated that approximately thirty-five of these CAF applicants will have transferred to Clonakilty by the end of 2006.
