Question 385: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the methodology that a person must use if the person wishes to change their employment from one employer to another if the person is on a work permit here from a non-EU country; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Work Permits section of my Department has informed me that there are no restrictions on a foreign national on a valid work permit changing employer. However their new employer must obtain a new work permit on their behalf.
