As indicated in my letter of 18 September to the Deputy, my Department informed Sligo County Council that it did not appear that the disposal of the land in question required Ministerial consent. My Department understands that the Council's solicitors have now written to the person's legal representatives advising that the disposal of the land in question is proceeding, and that the relevant Deed of Transfer will shortly be provided.
