Question 1062: To ask the Minister for Transport if he has plans to extend the powers of clampers to permit them to clamp vehicles displaying no tax disk, insurance disk or national car test disk, or displaying invalid disks; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28268/06]

Section 101B of the Road Traffic Act 1961 provides for the immobilisation of unlawfully parked vehicles. I have no proposals under consideration to provide for the use of this method of enforcement in respect of other offences.
