Question 543: To ask the Minister for Finance if he will arrange for the replacement of the current wooden palisade fencing with similar steel fencing in an area (details supplied) in County Kildare; if he will approach Coillte with a view to sharing in the responsibility with particular reference to the need to prevent unauthorised access to the area and vice versa; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am aware of the problems of unauthorised access to the Castletown Estate generally and to the area mentioned by the Deputy in particular. OPW officials are currently reviewing the security arrangements for the Estate. The officials will also be in contact with Coillte in this regard.
